The ATEM Mini Extreme is an 8-channel HDMI live production switcher with an integrated control panel, built for live streaming with advanced broadcast features. Its eight independent HDMI inputs accept the popular HD signal formats up to 1080p60, and the switcher streams via RTMP through Ethernet or USB-C — the same USB-C connection can also present its output to a computer as a webcam. It records the program output, backed by an 11-input, 2-channel audio mixer and an input frame rate and format converter with re-sync across all HDMI inputs, so mismatched cameras stay in sync. Local and software switching support both hands-on and remote operation, four upstream and two downstream keyers handle layered production, and an HD multiview shows up to 16 sources at once.
