The ATEM 4 M/E Constellation 4K Switcher features 40 12G-SDI inputs and 24 12G-SDI outputs, connecting to a wide range of cameras and sources at 10-bit. Video runs up to UHD 4K60 via the 12G-SDI programme outputs, or 1080p and 720p webcam output via USB-C.

Multiview windows and a built-in audio mixer

Four multiview outputs give up to 16 routable windows, able to display inputs, keyed video, graphics and stills from the media pool alongside the programme output. Each input connects to a built-in Fairlight audio mixer supporting up to 156 channels of audio.

Synchronisation for mixed, non-genlocked sources

A reference video input is built in, and every input carries its own frame synchroniser, frame rate converter and format converter, so cameras without genlock capability can be mixed and matched. Upstream and downstream keyers and effects run in real time.

Keying and generators

Keying runs to 16 upstream and 4 downstream keyers, with chroma and luma keying plus colour and pattern generators built in.
