The ATEM 2 M/E Constellation 4K adds UHD 4K capability and 12G-SDI ports to the familiar Constellation switcher construction. It features 20 individual 12G-SDI inputs that support 12G/3G/HD-SDI signals, delivering them to 12 12G-SDI outputs or webcam output via USB-C.

Multiview and audio on every input

A multiview output gives up to 16 routable windows, able to display inputs, keyed video, graphics and stills from the media pool alongside the programme output. Each input also connects to a built-in Fairlight audio mixer with 48 channels of audio.

Built for mixed, non-genlocked sources

A reference video input is built in, and every input carries its own frame synchroniser, frame rate converter and format converter, letting you mix and match cameras, formats, non-genlocked sources and computer video input. Upstream and downstream keyers and effects run live and in real time, with no rendering required.

Keying, generators and control

Keying runs to 8 upstream and 2 downstream keyers, with chroma and luma keying plus colour and pattern generators built in. Control the switcher from its integrated front panel, with optional Blackmagic ATEM panels, or via downloadable control software for Mac and Windows.
