The Blackmagic Cinema Camera 6K brings Blackmagic Design's digital film capture to a wider range of productions, built around a full-frame 6K sensor and an active Leica L lens mount. Rich colour and accurate skin tones come from a wide 13-stop dynamic range, backed by a built-in optical low-pass filter tailored to the camera's 36 x 24mm full-frame sensor. ENG and other on-the-go shooters can record 12-bit Blackmagic RAW and real-time H.264 proxy footage simultaneously to supported local media, with automatic upload of proxies — or originals and proxies — to a Blackmagic Cloud DaVinci Resolve project for quick turnaround alongside the full-quality master. The Cinema Camera 6K sits a step up from Blackmagic's Pocket Cinema Camera line, while remaining compatible with existing Pocket Cinema Camera accessories.
