The Pocket Cinema Camera 6K G2 carries the same 6K Super35 sensor, recording engine, dynamic range and interface ports as the Pocket Cinema Camera 6K Pro. Compared with the 6K Pro, the G2 has no internal ND filters, while retaining the adjustable touchscreen and larger battery, and supporting the optional EVF and Battery Pro Grip.

Shared 6K sensor and recording

The Super35 HDR sensor and Gen 5 colour science record 6144 x 3456 6K video up to 50 fps, or up to 120 fps windowed in 2.8K/1080p, with dual native ISO of 400 and 3200 for low-light work.

Active EF mount and audio

An active Canon EF mount and dual mini-XLR audio inputs carry over unchanged from the 6K Pro, alongside a 5" tilting LCD touchscreen and an NP-F570 L-series battery slot.

What's simplified from the Pro

This G2 model does not have the 6K Pro's internal ND filters, while keeping an optional Pro EVF and an optional battery grip available for anyone who wants to build the camera back up.

Media

Recording runs to CFast 2.0 and SD/UHS-II card slots, giving a choice of familiar, swappable capture media on set.
