The AJA T-TAP adds SDI and HDMI outputs to a computer over Thunderbolt. It is bus powered from the Thunderbolt connection (5V, 6.5W maximum), so it needs no separate power supply.

The SDI output is single-link 1.5G HD-SDI or 270Mbps SD-SDI in YCbCr 4:2:2, with bit depth depending on the application. The HDMI output is v1.3, at up to 30 bits per pixel in RGB or YUV. Both carry 8 channels of 24-bit embedded audio. Formats run from SD to 2K, including 1080i, 1080p up to 30 and 720p. Contact us to check it suits your computer and software.
