The OG-FiDO-2T-12G is an openGear-compatible 2-channel 12G-SDI to single-mode LC fibre converter, extending 12G-SDI signals up to 6.2 miles over standard single-mode fibre optic cable. Its two 12G-SDI BNC inputs are completely independent, so each channel can carry a different 12G-SDI rate, across a format-agnostic range from 270 Mb/s to 12 Gb/s with automatic rate selection. It supports HDR video, with input-present and SMPTE-lock LEDs and automatic detection and reclocking, at a nominal transmit wavelength of 1310 nm and up to 3 W of power draw. Hot-swappable and supplied with the appropriate fibre SFP and rear I/O card, it needs two slots per card and fits AJA's high-density openGear 2RU frames, including the OG-X-FR, OG-3-FR and DFR-8321. It's monitored and controlled through openGear DashBoard software on Windows, macOS or Linux.
