The HA5-12G-T-ST steps up to a single-channel ST fibre transmitter, converting an HDMI 2.0 input to 12G-SDI for 4K/UltraHD single-link output (HDCP-protected HDMI content is not supported) and extending the signal up to 6 miles over a single ST fibre link via its pre-installed FiberST-1T-12G SFP module. Two mirrored 12G-SDI distribution-amplifier outputs carry 8- or 2-channel embedded audio from the HDMI source, or a two-channel analogue (RCA) audio input, and it supports 60p input at 4:4:4, 4:2:2 or 4:2:0, with EDID emulation. It includes all the functionality of the base HA5-12G, extending audio and video signals further over its longer fibre reach, and ships with a power supply. This is the longest-reach member of AJA's HA5-12G range, using an ST rather than LC fibre connector.
