AJA FS2 is a Dual Channel Frame Synchronizer and Converter, supporting two independent streams of 3G/HD/SD 10-bit broadcast-quality video and two independent groups of multichannel audio processing, with a 16-channel AES/EBU audio interface overall.

Independent or linked channel operation

Each channel supports analogue component or composite, 3G/HD/SD-SDI, Dual-Link and HDMI I/O, and can run as two separate frame synchronizers/format converters, or be linked via the internal keyer to do the work of multiple devices — such as HD sidebar keying, where both video and background graphics are up-converted and combined.

Per-channel processing

Each channel features still-store, keyer and video proc amp/colour corrector, with up/down/cross-conversion and SD aspect ratio conversion available across a wide range of broadcast formats.

Monitoring, control and deployment

FS2 supports closed captioning and SNMP monitoring with web-based remote control, suiting applications such as broadcast facilities, production trucks, and video and audio signal conversion, adaptation, timing and processing.
