The FiDO-R-12G-ST is a single-channel mini-converter that takes a locking ST single-mode optical fibre input and outputs 12G-SDI, supporting video resolutions up to 4K60 across a maximum transmission range of 6.2 miles on standard single-mode fibre optic cable. Auto-selection reclocking handles the signal at select rates, feeding two matching 12G/6G/3G/HD/SD-SDI BNC outputs. The locking ST barrel connector gives a secure connection suited to live event, field production and mobile environments, and the converter is small enough to fit behind a monitor, at the back of a rack, or directly on a camera rig. It meets all relevant SMPTE specifications, uses a locking power connector, and ships with a 5-20V worldwide power supply. ST fibre is the connector on this receiver within AJA's single-channel 12G-SDI FiDO range, which is also offered with a single-mode LC connector.
