The FiDO-R-12G is a single-channel receiver that converts a single-mode LC optical fibre signal to 12G-SDI — AJA's own listing covers 12G, 6G, 3G, HD and SD-SDI — over cable runs up to 10 km on standard single-mode fibre optic cable. It shares the compact, low-profile enclosure used across the FiDO range, built to work well in tight spaces around and behind equipment racks, in trucks, and directly on camera. AJA positions it for flexibility and cost efficiency in 12G-SDI fibre conversion. Single-mode LC fibre is the connector on this receiver within AJA's single-channel 12G-SDI FiDO range, which is also offered with an ST fibre connector.
