The FiDO-T-12G is a single-channel transmitter that converts a 12G-SDI signal — which also supports 6G, 3G, HD and SD-SDI — to single-mode LC optical fibre, over a simplex LC connection carrying cable runs up to 10 km on standard single-mode fibre optic cable. A reclocked loop-through of the SDI input lets you monitor the source signal locally at the transmitter end. AJA builds the FiDO-T-12G into the same compact, low-profile enclosure used across the FiDO range, designed to work well in tight spaces around and behind equipment racks, in trucks, and directly on camera — offering flexibility and cost efficiency for extending a 12G-SDI signal well beyond standard coax reach. Single-mode LC fibre is the connector on this transmitter within AJA's single-channel 12G-SDI FiDO range, which is also paired with single-mode LC and ST receivers.
