The Tilt and Swing Arm for UMB-1 Universal Matte Box mounts on a Base or Clamp-On UMB-1 matte box, adding swing-away movement to configurations that don't otherwise have it. Once fitted, the matte box swings clear of the lens for fast lens changes, rather than being removed from the rig entirely. It also adds up to 10° of forward or back tilt, useful for angling the filter stage away from reflections. The arm mounts directly on 15mm LWS rods, and can also be fitted to 15mm or 19mm studio rods with optional adapters, sold separately. It's the upgrade path for owners of the Base or Clamp-On configuration who want Swing Away or Pro-level handling without replacing the whole matte box.
