The D-Box for RED DSMC2 Cameras (Gold Mount) attaches directly to the RED DSMC2 camera body or a compatible expander module via a cable-less interface, passing power through to the camera while adding a wider set of powered accessory connectors. It carries four D-Tap ports (one partly obscured by the housing shape), two 2-pin LEMO ports and two 3-pin Fischer ports, plus a 5V USB port and a 12-16V DC input port, with all outputs — including all four D-Taps — active simultaneously. The DC input lets an external power supply keep the camera and its accessories powered through a battery hot-swap, and the D-Box installs tool-free with a fully cable-free interface. It's compatible with the Base Expander Module, REDVOLT Expander Module and Teradek O-Mods, and pairs with the equivalent V-Lock D-Box for RED DSMC2 cameras running the other battery-mount standard.
