The 26V Gold Mount Plus Battery Mount is a Gold Mount battery plate built for the power draw of ARRI ALEXA cameras, mounting directly onto the pogo connectors on the ALEXA LF, 65 and SXT, and via the rear battery contacts (without cables) on every ALEXA model down to the Classic EV, to carry a single 26V block battery. A 2-pin Fischer DC input accepts an external power source, which the plate prioritises ahead of the onboard battery — draining the external supply first, then hot-swapping to the onboard battery once it's depleted, without interrupting the camera. Two 15V regulated D-Tap outputs power additional accessories independently of the camera's own supply; if an accessory draws excessive current, power is cut only to those two D-Tap outputs while the camera keeps running, and the OLED status display shows a warning until the outputs are reset with the menu button. That OLED display also reports voltage, battery capacity and the active power source. It's a way to keep an ALEXA camera running through a battery change on set, whether the setup is a single operator or a full camera department.
