The Echo II DV Rackmount turns a Windows, Mac or Linux system that has run out of PCIe slots into a rack-mount broadcast studio, connected over Thunderbolt. Two PCIe 3.0 x16 slots, each with its own Thunderbolt interface, let you run two full-height, full-length PCIe cards at once -- enough headroom for bandwidth-hungry non-GPU I/O cards such as the AJA Kona 5 and Blackmagic DeckLink 4K Extreme 12G. Connection to the host is via dual 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 3 ports, with data transfers reaching up to 3000 MB/s over Thunderbolt 4 or 2570 MB/s over Thunderbolt 3. An integrated 400W power supply with dual 75W auxiliary connectors feeds demanding cards, dual variable-speed Noctua fans keep them cool, and the chassis powers on and off automatically with the host system.
