Ultra 5 is a monitor-only field unit with a 5" 1920x1080 touchscreen at 440 PPI pixel density, delivering 3000 cd/m2 brightness and a full suite of large front-facing custom-function buttons for control in any condition. It runs PageOS 5's full tools, functions and settings pages, with a dedicated 3G-SDI input, a second 3G-SDI BNC selectable as input or output, HDMI 2.0 (4Kp30) input and output, and a 3.5mm stereo headphone jack. Power comes via a 2-pin locking input (10-34V DC, 2.1A), with an SD card slot, RJ45 Ethernet, micro-USB and locking USB for data. Optional Gold Mount or V-Mount micro battery plates keep it compact, and an Ethernet port enables ARRI and Sony VENICE camera control. Its camera-control software turns the touchscreen into a command hub for ARRI, RED DSMC2, KOMODO, V-RAPTOR and Sony VENICE — Start/Stop Record, FPS, shutter speed, ISO, colour temperature/white balance and clip playback — with individual camera-control licences and cables sold separately.
