The SmallHD Sony VENICE Camera Control Kit (Ultra 5/7/10/Cine 7) is SmallHD's Camera Control for the Sony BURANO, VENICE and VENICE 2, for use on an Ultra 5, Ultra 7, Ultra 10 or Cine 7 monitor. It comes as a software licence on a download card, with a 36-inch slim Ethernet cable.

Once it's running, the touchscreen handles record start and stop, ND filter selection, frame rate, shutter speed, ISO and colour temperature or white balance. You also get partial LUT configuration and clip playback, and the camera's timecode, media status, frame rate, resolution, battery information and recording format appear on the monitor for reference.

Camera Control is tied to the monitor it's registered on: after registration it can't be removed or transferred to a different SmallHD monitor. For the Cine 5, SmallHD makes a separate Sony kit with a 5-pin to Ethernet adapter.
