The SB-U98/PD is a 96Wh, 14.4V, 6.6Ah lithium-ion battery from IDX System Technology, built in the Sony BP-U form factor as an alternative power source for compatible Sony cameras. Alongside a D-Tap output, an integrated USB-C PD input/output port can power accessories, recharge the battery itself once depleted, or accept charging power, with a 4-stage LED showing remaining charge and overcharge/overdischarge/overcurrent protection built in.
