The IPL-150 is a 14.4V V-mount Li-ion battery with 143Wh of capacity and an 11.3A load rating, aimed at longer-duration high-load shoots. Its Powerlink system lets you piggyback and hot-swap additional IPL batteries on the camera for virtually unlimited runtime — power is drawn from the battery furthest from the camera or light first, switching to the next battery in the chain once that one is drained. Up to four batteries can be stacked together to charge at once, and the Powerlink chain also works with IDX DUO-C batteries, provided they sit last in the chain. Battery data displays in most camera viewfinders. The IPL-150 carries two 80W D-Tap outputs — including one D-Tap Advanced accessory port — plus a USB port, a 5-LED battery life indicator, a retractable V-mount connector cover, and built-in circuit protection, and is compatible with IDX VL-2000 chargers.
