The HA18x5.5BERD-S6 is a 5.5-100mm Premier Series ENG/EFP lens for 2/3" cameras, with an 18x zoom ratio and a close focus distance of approximately 16", giving the reach to cover a subject up close or at a distance.
From courtside close-ups to studio and interview work
The focal-range variety suits sports coverage as well as studio production and close interview work, and a built-in 2x extender extends the reach further.
16-bit encoders for accurate servo control
16-bit optical encoders drive accurate zoom and focus tracking. Maximum aperture holds at f/1.8 from 5.5-62mm, ramping to f/2.9 at 100mm, with an optical design that loses only 0.1 stop of light at the wide end and 0.2 stops from 100mm and longer — keeping F-stop and T-stop closely matched.
Digital servo control and studio integration
Digital servo drives both zoom and focus, with an inner-focus design that doesn't rotate the front element when focusing, plus QuickZoom, and full studio remote control via RS-232.
