The Fujinon UA14x4.5BERD is an ENG-style 4K-origination zoom for 2/3" cameras, built for an ultra-wide-to-telephoto angle of view. Its 14x zoom ratio and built-in 2x extender give one lens body the working range for wide establishing shots and close, isolated framing on the same production.

Wide-to-telephoto range with a built-in extender

The lens covers a 4.5 to 63mm focal range with a 14x zoom ratio, and engaging the built-in 2x extender doubles the focal length range, adding telephoto reach without swapping to a separate lens or accessory. The full range is designed to support 4K origination, so image quality is maintained as the operator zooms from the wide end through to full telephoto.

Fast aperture across most of the range

A fast f/1.8 maximum aperture runs from 4.5 to 41mm and ramps to f/2.8 at the 63mm telephoto end. Holding f/1.8 across the majority of the zoom range keeps the lens usable as light drops, without forcing a change in ISO or shutter speed to compensate at the telephoto end.

Servo zoom with manual or servo focus

Zoom is controlled by a digital servo, while focus can be run manually or by servo, depending on the operator's preference and the shooting situation. An Innerfocus design minimises the effects of lens breathing — the change in field of view that can occur during a focus pull — keeping framing more consistent as focus is adjusted through a shot.

Built for ENG-style handling

The servo-zoom, extendable design keeps the lens close in size and control layout to a standard ENG lens, for operators moving between assignments and camera bodies without relearning zoom and focus control positions each time.
