The URSA Broadcast G2 is a 3-in-1 camera from Blackmagic Design, working as a broadcast and studio camera and as a 6K digital film camera recording Blackmagic RAW, on generation 5 colour science and a durable, lightweight magnesium body.

6K sensor and colour

A 6K CMOS sensor with dual native ISO gives 13 stops of dynamic range, with generation 5 colour science carried over from Blackmagic's cinema camera line for cinema-style images from a broadcast body.

Recording formats

The camera records 6K Blackmagic RAW alongside ProRes and H.265/264, with ProRes recording up to 1080p120 for slow motion inserts, across two UHS-II SD and two CFast 2.0 card slots.

Lens mount and imaging tools

A 2/3" B4 lens mount ships with an included active EF mount adapter, opening up a long line of professional cinema lenses, backed by built-in 2/4/6-stop ND filters and support for 3D LUTs for cinema-style looks on set.

Connectivity and audio

12G-SDI input and output with genlock and timecode covers studio and multi-camera sync, and audio is captured over XLR inputs with a 3.5mm output for monitoring.
