The Fairlight Desktop Audio Editor is the stand-alone desktop version of the Fairlight editing panel, connecting by Ethernet directly to the DaVinci Resolve computer with no console chassis required. It gives professional sound editors quick-access controls for high-speed, precise audio editing — markedly faster than working with a mouse alone.

A high-quality search dial with an electronic clutch handles transport control and scrubbing — one of the defining controls of the Fairlight editing workflow.

A full keyboard that adapts to the task

A full keyboard is built in, with multi-function picture keys that change according to the current task, so the keys always show what they do in whatever mode you're working in. The menus and controls were shaped by more than 20 years of professional audio engineer guidance and use.

Simple connection, low power draw

Connection is a single Ethernet cable supporting 10/100/1000 BaseT, with a USB-C port for software configuration and updates. Power comes from an internal 100-240V AC 50/60Hz supply with an IEC C14 mains input drawing a maximum of 20W, operating from 0° to 40°C.
