The DeckLink SDI 4K Capture & Playback Card is built around a single multi-rate SDI input and output, accepting single-link SD, HD, 3G and 6G-SDI signals for resolutions from SD up to Ultra HD 4K (3840x2160) and DCI 4K (4096x2160) — UHD/DCI 4K at 4:2:2 via single-link 6G-SDI, or 1080p at 4:4:4 via single-link 3G-SDI. RS-422 deck control, internal keying and a reference input are built in, alongside down/up/cross conversion. Flexible format and codec support covers compressed video such as ProRes and DNxHD as well as 10-bit uncompressed video, where every image is pixel-for-pixel identical to the source with no generational loss. The card is compatible with Mac OS X, Windows and Linux.
