The ATEM Monitoring Rack Panel 20 combines a SMPTE-2110 monitoring converter with a 1RU rack-mount ATEM control panel. It adds dedicated local switcher buttons, talkback and converted-video monitoring near the rack, alongside the built-in LCD and menus already on ATEM Constellation IP switchers — Blackmagic took the front panel of an ATEM 2 M/E Constellation 4K and rebuilt it as an independent unit that mounts wherever the rack lives. Two redundant SMPTE-2110 10G Ethernet connections feed two 12G-SDI outputs and an HDMI output, with SDI rates covering 1.5G, 3G, 6G and 12G and the picture shown on the built-in LCD. Each 2110 stream carries 16 channels of embedded audio, passed through as 16 channels on the SDI outputs and 8 on HDMI. On the panel side, 20 buttons control a local ATEM switcher — source, transition and talkback selection — plus a menu knob, set button, panel lock and a front-panel 5-pin XLR talkback connection. Standards run from 720p to 2160p60 in 10-bit 4:2:2 with Rec. 709 and Rec. 2020 SDI colourspace, SMPTE-2022-7 redundancy, PTP v2 timing and NMOS IS-04/IS-05 control over a dedicated 1G port. Setup runs over USB-C, an optional Blackmagic IP10 codec adds 2160p60 IP video, and dual IEC power inputs provide redundancy.
