The BirdDog O4 Outdoor is a PTZ camera built to run outside, in weather that would put an indoor camera at risk, while still delivering 4K images with a long 30x optical zoom reach.

Built for the elements

The IP66-rated diecast body operates across an extreme range, from -40°C to +60°C (-40°F to +120°F), backed by an integrated heater and a hydrophobic lens coating to shed rain and condensation.

Reach and clarity outdoors

A 1/1.8" 8.4MP CMOS sensor and 30x optical zoom lens support resolutions up to 4K60, and an IR laser adds true night vision capture once the light drops.

Signal paths for an outdoor install

12G-SDI and RJ-45 video output, plus SFP fibre and RJ-45 for networking, built-in NDI HX3 support, and PoE++ power keep the cable run to an outdoor mounting point simple.

Automatic image handling

2D/3D noise reduction, 255 presets and multi-exposure HDR help the camera hold a usable image across changing outdoor light without constant manual adjustment.
