The AJA KONA 4 is a PCIe video I/O card for 4K and 2K work, with 4096 x 2160 and UltraHD 3840 x 2160 up to 60p alongside 3G, Dual-Link, HD and SD formats. Its four SDI connections are bidirectional 3G-SDI, and an HDMI output supports high frame rate formats and can downsample 4K to HD for monitoring.

The card handles RGB 4:4:4 up to 12-bit and YCbCr 4:2:2 10-bit, depending on the application, and converts HD and SD up, down and across in real time in hardware. It supports HDR10 and HLG over HDMI, with VPID signalling over SDI. AJA lists macOS, Windows and Linux support for the card. Contact us to confirm what's included with this unit.
