The FiDO-2T is a dual-channel mini-converter that takes two independent 3G-SDI inputs and converts each to a matched LC fibre output, at resolutions up to 1080p. Over standard single-mode fibre cable, it carries the two signals up to six miles at full resolution, in a compact enclosure built for indoor and outdoor use around camera rigs, equipment racks and trucks. Inputs are equalised and reclocked, the unit is ASI compatible and meets all relevant SMPTE specifications. Power comes via a locking connector, with the converter drawing up to 3W and shipping with a 5-20V worldwide power supply. Use it directly with compatible SDI or fibre equipment, or pair it with a corresponding AJA FiDO Mini Converter for a complete link.
