The DeckLink 8K Pro G2 is an 8K-capable PCIe capture and playback card with four bidirectional 12G-SDI connections plus one HDMI 2.1 input and one HDMI 2.1 output, supporting every standard from SD through HD, UHD, 4K and 8K. Using the free DeckLink SDK, up to four video streams can be configured in any direction, format or frame rate up to DCI 4K60 for true multi-channel capture and playback. It handles 8- and 10-bit YUV 4:2:2 as well as 10- and 12-bit RGB 4:4:4 with full Rec. 2020 colour, running HD and 4K at up to 120 fps and 8K at up to 60 fps, with the four 12G-SDI connections carrying up to 64 channels of embedded audio. RS-422 deck control is built in. The card fits 8- and 16-lane PCI Express slots on Mac, Windows and Linux systems, occupies two PCI slots and needs a connection to the computer's power supply.
