The 2110 IP Presentation Converter brings SMPTE 2110 IP video into speaker podiums and presentation setups, connecting microphones and speakers while sending video from a laptop to a projector over USB-C — the same USB-C connection can also power the laptop, up to 45W. A bidirectional 10G Ethernet connection carries SMPTE-2110 video input and output for use with Blackmagic's wider 2110 IP product range, and is also used for configuration, firmware updates and PoE power. The converter supports video up to DCI 4K60, with HDMI 2.0 input and output plus a 12G-SDI output that is automatically standards-converted to the destination. Audio is embedded across all video I/O, with balanced 3-pin XLR mic/line inputs, a balanced 3-pin XLR output for PA speakers, and a 1/4-inch headphone output; phantom power is available on the mic inputs.
