The 2110 IP Mini BiDirect 12G SFP Converter connects a 12G-SDI broadcast studio camera to SMPTE-2110 IP systems over long distances, using an SFP connection for optical fibre. It sends up to UHD 4K 12G-SDI camera video and programme return through the same converter, and is compact enough to mount directly onto a camera rig. A 5-pin XLR talkback headset connection with a press-to-talk button keeps camera operators in contact with the broadcast production booth. The unit includes a 12V DC power supply, and its SFP socket supports compatible 10G Ethernet and 3G/6G/12G-SDI optical modules, with a Windows/macOS software utility for setup.
