Built for larger rod configurations, the Zip Focus Single-Rod Follow Focus (19/15mm Studio) still secures to the rig on a single rod, in an extended-body version of Wooden Camera's compact Zip Focus. It mounts natively to a 19mm rod, with an included snap-in adapter bushing for a 15mm studio rod. A central joint pivots to fit a wide range of lenses, driven through a 1:1 gear ratio on 0.8 MOD friction drive gears. It ships with 2 standard marking disks for logging focus points, plus a hard-stop disk for DSLR lenses. The focus gearing runs in the standard rotation direction only and is not reversible, which is worth checking against Nikon prime lenses and similar setups that turn the opposite way.
