This PL Mount Modification Kit replaces the EF lens mount on a Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 6K, 6K G2 or 6K Pro with an aluminium-and-stainless-steel PL mount, opening up most cine-style PL lenses — though lenses protruding more than 40mm behind the PL flange aren't compatible, and others may be restricted by the camera body's shape. It includes seven shims for back-focus alignment, all necessary tools and hardware, and a PL port cap to keep dust out when no lens is fitted. The modification is reversible, so you can switch back to EF glass for another job, though repeatedly switching between PL and EF mounts can eventually strip the camera's composite-plastic sensor block.
