The PL-Mount To E-Mount Pro Lens Mount Adapter puts PL-mount cine lenses onto Sony E-mount cameras. Its support-ring configuration is built for the Sony FX6, and the adapter is also passively compatible with other Sony E-mount cameras — including the FS7 II, FX9, A7, A7R, A7S, A7 II, FS100, FS700, NEX-5, NEX-6 and NEX-7 — where the support ring isn't used. The kit includes the adapter with support ring, two support screws, a seven-piece shim set, and a PL port cap. The support ring mounts around the adapter and attaches using the separately available Wooden Camera Top Plate for Sony FX6 — for a fully supported FX6 build, plan for that top plate alongside this adapter. Calibration is handled by loosening six socket-cap screws around the adapter collar, separating the two adapter sections, and adding the colour-coded shims to bring an out-of-calibration camera and lens pairing back into line; the support-ring thumbscrew, separately, is used to remove the mount quickly.
