The Canon BP-955 Battery Slide Extension attaches to the separately available Battery Slide Pro V-Mount or Gold Mount for RED KOMODO-X and KOMODO. It holds a Canon BP-955 battery, which powers the camera while the Gold Mount or V-Mount battery is swapped out — so the camera never has to be powered down for a battery change. Only the Canon BP-955 is recommended; larger-capacity batteries may not fit between the battery plate and camera body.
