The Battery Slide Pro V-Mount for Sony FX9 attaches to the rear of the camera and supports a V-Mount battery, without blocking access to the FX9's standard battery compartment, so an internal BPU battery can still be installed. With an internal BPU battery in place, that dual access allows hot-swapping between the internal battery and the V-Mount pack, so the camera keeps running through a battery change. The plate converts V-Mount battery voltage to 19.5V and powers the FX9 through a barrel connector. Three D-Tap ports on the plate power accessories directly from the V-Mount battery, and a protective digital fuse monitors those ports continuously, disabling them if the connected accessories draw more current than the set limit — without interrupting power to the camera itself. The rod-free rear slide position adjusts by loosening a thumbscrew and sliding. It shares this mounting, hot-swap and D-Tap layout with the Gold Mount version of the Battery Slide Pro for the same camera, differing only in battery mount type.
