The M.2 8x4 Silent PCIe 4.0 x16 Card fits a full-height, full-length PCIe 4.0/3.0 x16 slot on a Windows, Mac or Linux host and carries up to eight NVMe PCIe M.2 SSDs, addressing the bus over 48 lanes at PCIe 4.0 x16. Configured as RAID 0, it drives read speeds up to 30,000 MB/s and write speeds up to 18,000 MB/s; RAID 1, RAID 10 and non-RAID configurations are also available where redundancy matters more than outright throughput. Total capacity runs to 64TB across the eight M.2 slots. The card supports macOS boot, so a system can start directly from an attached SSD, and it works inside Thunderbolt expansion systems as well as a direct PCIe slot — a route to high-capacity, high-throughput storage for workflows from a single edit bay through to a multi-seat post-production system.
