The PTZOptics HD Box Camera (ZCam) is a compact, fixed box camera for static, point-of-view shots — the angle you set once and leave running. With a 12x zoom it holds a specific area in frame, which makes it a natural partner to PTZ cameras: let the box camera lock off a wide or hero angle while a PTZ handles close-ups and scene changes. It is quick to deploy — mounted and streaming in around ten minutes — and can sit up to 300 feet (about 90 metres) from your switcher over standard Ethernet. Outputs suit both worlds: an optional NDI integration drops it into software production tools such as OBS, vMix, Wirecast, MimoLive and Livestream Studio, while a 3G-SDI connection works with hardware switchers from Blackmagic Design, Roland and NewTek. H.264 and H.265 encoding plus SRT support send high-definition, low-latency video securely over the internet, and Power over Ethernet keeps installation to a single cable run. Exposure, white balance and noise reduction can all be tuned remotely, and every ZCam is backed by a five-year limited parts-and-labour warranty.
