The AJ-CX4000GJ is a B4-mount broadcast camera recorder, pairing an 11.14-million-pixel MOS sensor with an interchangeable 2/3-type bayonet mount, so existing B4 ENG lenses carry straight across onto a UHD/FHD/HD recording body.
UHD recording with a broadcast codec set
The sensor records UHD (3840x2160), FHD (1920x1080) and HD (1280x720), saving AVC-Intra 422 and AVC-LongG50/25/12 to P2/MXF, or H.264/MPEG-4 AVC and H.265/HEVC Main10 as MOV files, across an expressP2 slot and two microP2/SDXC UHS-II slots.
Two SDI outputs plus HDMI
SDI OUT1 switches between 12G-SDI and 3G/HD-SDI, SDI OUT2 stays fixed at 3G/HD-SDI, and a single HDMI output carries up to 3840x2160 at 59.94p/50p for monitoring or direct capture.
Audio and a broadcast-ready build
LPCM 48kHz/24-bit 4-channel audio runs alongside the video path, in a body weighing approximately 3.4kg and powered from a DC 12V supply, built for handheld and shoulder-mount ENG work.
Built around an existing B4 lens kit
The interchangeable B4 mount means broadcast and ENG crews already invested in B4 lenses can move them onto the CX4000GJ, rather than committing to a fixed zoom on a new body.
