The AV-UHS500 is a compact 4K/12G-SDI live production switcher, built to bring broadcast-grade switching, keying and multiviewer tools into a portable frame for on-site production, outside broadcast and small studio installs.

Standard I/O for on-site work

Eight SDI inputs and two HDMI inputs handle incoming sources, with five SDI and two HDMI outputs; the switcher supports 12G-SDI, 3G-SDI, HDMI and NDI across UHD and HD formats.

Keying, conversion and room to expand

Five keyers and four AUX buses handle compositing and transitions, backed by built-in up/down conversion and HDR/SDR (BT.709/BT.2020) conversion; optional modules add further SDI and HDMI inputs and outputs.

Monitoring built into the panel

An integrated 7-inch (178mm) LCD monitor runs two multiviewer functions and an ROI (region of interest) tool, letting the operator frame and check sources without an external screen.

PTZ control and network switching

Built-in PTZ camera control operates from the panel or remotely via AV-SF500 software or third-party control panels; NDI HX support requires the optional AV-UHS5M6G interface unit, with a mode-dependent maximum of 4 inputs/2 outputs in 2K or 1 input/1 output in 4K.
