The VL-4X is a 4-channel V-mount charger for lithium-ion batteries, charging four batteries sequentially — automatically switching to the next battery once the previous one is full — or two batteries simultaneously when placed on opposite sides of the unit. It delivers up to 2.7A of quick-charge current through a fanless design, so it runs without the noise of a typical charger. Internal safety features protect both battery and charger from damage if a faulty or misused battery is placed on the charger, and charging stops automatically if an attached battery reaches an overvoltage condition. A support stand keeps the unit upright on a flat surface. Charge times run to approximately 5-12 hours in quick-charge mode, or around 2 hours in the protection-timer recovery mode. The VL-4X ships with a power adapter that accepts 100-240VAC for worldwide use and outputs 90W DC through a 4-pin XLR connector, and reports status via LED indicators.
