The Fujinon XT17SX4.5BRM is a 17x ENG zoom lens designed specifically for JVC's ProHD line of 1/3" camcorders, including the GY-HM700. Positioned as an entry-level ENG zoom, it carries across performance features Fujinon previously reserved for higher-end lenses: a wide-angle-to-telephoto range of 4.5-77mm, plus Quick Zoom and Cruising Zoom functions. Quick Zoom gives a rapid, push-button shift to the telephoto end of the range to check focus before a shot; Cruising Zoom is included alongside it as part of the same enhanced control set. Improved ergonomics round out the handling, making this a compact option for crews already working on compatible ProHD camcorders.
