The URSA Mini Pro 12K (PL) is Blackmagic Design's flagship digital cinema camera, built around a 12K Super35 sensor and Blackmagic's newest colour science to produce extraordinarily detailed images. With up to 14 stops of dynamic range and a recording engine spanning full-sensor 12K down to high frame rate 4K, it suits cine-style productions that want the option to finish in the highest resolution the format offers.

12K Super35 sensor and colour

The 12,288 x 6480 12K Super35 HDR CMOS sensor pairs with Blackmagic's newest colour science for extraordinarily detailed images, holding up to 14 stops of dynamic range — resolution enough to reframe, crop or downscale a single 12K master into multiple deliverables.

High-resolution, high frame rate recording

The camera records up to 80MP per frame in Blackmagic RAW, with rates spanning up to 60 fps at the full 12K 17:9 sensor, up to 75 fps in 12K 2.4:1, up to 120 fps in DCI 8K, and up to 240 fps in windowed 4K Super16 for slow motion work.

Media and connectivity

Dual CFast 2.0 or SD card slots give a choice of familiar, swappable media, and a USB Type-C port lets the camera record straight to an external disk or SSD when a production needs more capacity or throughput than card media alone.

Lens mount

A user-changeable PL lens mount comes fitted as standard, keeping the camera ready for cine-style PL glass on any production's camera package.
