AJA's KUMO CP2 Remote Control Panel puts computer-free control of up to four connected KUMO routers — 1604, 1616, 3232 and 6464 — onto a single push-button panel over an Ethernet connection. Individual ports can be routed directly, or ganged into dual and quad port groups for dual-link and quad-link SDI routing of raw HD and 4K material. Its 80 buttons select up to 64 sources and 64 destinations on each of the four connected routers, either in standalone mode or through a built-in GUI accessible from any web browser on the network. Panels can be located anywhere the network reaches: KUMO routers connect directly via standard RJ45 cables or through a network switch, and the KUMO software automatically detects and assigns routers to each panel, ready to use immediately.
