The KUMO 1616 Compact 12G-SDI Router from AJA is a 16 x 16 video matrix router built as a small, cost-effective routing solution for broadcast, production and post-production applications. It provides 16 x 12G-SDI inputs and 16 x 12G-SDI outputs in a compact 1 RU chassis. An embedded Linux operating system and internal web server give the router web browser control over 10/100/1000 Ethernet, with full HTTP monitoring and control and no additional software required. IP configuration runs over a Mini-USB port, alongside an RJ45 Ethernet port and an RS-422 serial port. It's a compact way to add 12G-SDI routing to a broadcast, production or post-production setup without a dedicated control computer.
