DaVinci Resolve Studio is an NLE covering projects from personal films through to feature films and VFX, supplied here as an activation card. The Colour page adds HDR grading tools, an AI-based Magic Mask for targeted grading and a colour warper, while Fairlight gains updated mouse and keyboard edit-selection tools alongside a next-generation audio engine and busing architecture supporting the editing of 2000 tracks in real time. Fusion compositions can be used directly in the Cut and Edit tabs, and proxy media workflows, Smart Reframe for social media, and DaVinci Neural Engine face detection round out the toolset, across Mac, Windows and Linux systems.

I've been using the free version for many years. It was great but the full version is better and faster. Also, fantastic service from DVT!

DaVinci Resolve

As a user coming from Adobe Premiere Pro (AP), I find the learning curve slightly steep in DaVinci Resolve (DR) compared to AP. However, after watching a few training videos on their site and YouTube, it’s like any other software. You just need to get familiar with where to find your frequent tools and maybe learn a new workflow or two. The plethora of tools and features, and the ways you can creatively mix them is beyond my expectation. My experience with DR has been pretty positive so far, and I'm liking it more each day as I learn more about it. Overall, I think it's well worth the price compared to AP which I paid monthly for years; I could have bought DR Studio many times over. I wish I had made the switch earlier. I highly recommend DaVinci Resolve.
