Set up your Sony PXW-FX9 for professional video and cinema production with this Pro version of the Wooden Camera Unified Accessory Kit. Centered around the FX9 Unified Baseplate, this kit can function in handheld shoots and on stationary rigs.

The included 15" rod pair fits in the baseplate and offers mounting points for accessories such as a matte box, follow focus, lens support, or lens motors. The top plate features multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 anti-twist threads with enough to spare to relocate the original camera handle. The wood-lined top handle attaches to the top plate via the included NATO rail and provides a convenient, secure way to hold your camera. It features multiple 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 anti-twist threads, two shoe mounts, and a 15mm rod port.

The included 12" dovetail plate allows you to mount your rig onto a tripod and balance the camera. Also included in the Pro kit is a UVF mount that replaces the original camera viewfinder that attaches an extension arm using a NATO clamp. Wooden Camera UVF Mount for Sony FS7 Without Clamp

Wooden Camera's UVF Mount for Sony FS7 Without Clamp features a NATO-style rail attached to a rod that fits into the mounting hole on your Sony FS7 camera's top handle. It also includes a NATO-type rail clamp with mounting rod for your camera's viewfinder. This combination replaces the original Sony viewfinder mount system that is included with your Sony FS7 and provides three points of adjustment while ensuring the camera's viewfinder remains level with the camera.

The UVF mount features a 5" NATO-type rail with a safety stop to help prevent the rail clamp from accidentally disengaging from the rail with potentially disastrous results. Additional extension along the rod attached to the NATO clamp allows you to further adjust the viewfinder. The rail clamp features a spring-loaded locking lever so you can loosen or tighten the clamp on the rail even if you are unable to rotate the locking lever throughout a full circle.

Wooden Camera Top Plate for Sony FX9

The Wooden Camera Top Plate for Sony FX9 attaches to the top of the camera, contouring its shape, and provides 1/4"-20 threads, 3/8"-16 ARRI accessory mounts, and a 15mm LWS rod mount. A component in the center of the plate can be removed to allow attaching the camera's original top handle with full communication with the camera. The Sony XDCA-FX9 Extension Unit can also be attached to the rear of the camera without the plate getting in the way.

Four 1/4"-20 screws are included for securing the top plate to the camera. An M2 Phillips screw is also supplied for relocating the Sony cable clamp to the side of the top plate.

Wooden Camera Unified Baseplate for FS7, FX9, C100 Mk II, C300 Mk II, C100/C300/C500

The Wooden Camera Unified Baseplate supports 15mm LWS rods at the correct lens height, and it offers a vertical 15mm rod port for incorporating the optional Unified Lens Adapter Kit. This Kit allows you to support different lens adapters from Wooden Camera, Metabones, and other brands.

The Baseplate includes the Core Unit, a Lower Quick Dovetail tripod plate on the bottom, and a Dovetail Camera Plate for the Sony FS7/FX9, Canon C100 Mk II, C300 Mk II & C100/C300/C500. Other Unified Baseplate Dovetail Plates are also supported, allowing for quick swaps with a variety of cameras.

The Baseplate provides two quick release options. You can remove the Dovetail Camera Plate only and leave the Core Unit with your rod pair behind, or you can remove the Core Unit from the Lower Quick Dovetail, in which case you'll have a dovetail on the bottom of the Core Unit that's compatible with any 2060 Dovetail, Safety Dovetail, or Shoulder Rig.

The Dovetail Camera Plate features a long slot along its center that lets you secure it to the camera with multiple screws (included), which can be set up to 2.8" (70mm) apart. It also has a non-slip rubber surface that will prevent the camera from twisting.

The Dovetail Camera Plate has an ARCA Swiss standard dovetail compatible with many third-party products. It also has threaded 1/4"-20 threaded holes on the bottom for attaching to gimbals or other compatible tripod plates. The Lower Quick Dovetail has 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes for attaching to tripod plates or ARRI standard bridgeplates, such as the Wooden Camera Unified Bridgeplates.

The Unified Baseplate can also be upgraded for VCT-14 compatible mounting options. Simply attach it to the optional Unified VCT Wedge Plate, which can then be mounted on the Unified VCT-14 Tripod Plate, also sold separately. The Unified Baseplate is backward compatible with Wooden Camera's original Quick Dovetails (Standard, DSLR, and Large).

Wooden Camera 15mm Support Rod (15")

This is a single, 15" long 15mm Support Rod from Wooden Camera for mounting accessories. It is chamfered at each end to ease sliding accessories on and off, and has a hollow interior providing for maximum strength.

Wooden Camera Safety Dovetail Plate (12")

The 12" Safety Dovetail Plate from Wooden Camera is an ARRI standard dovetail with a stopper screw on one end and a safety latch on the other to prevent accidental camera detachment. It features threaded 1/4-20 and 3/8-16 holes for accessory mounting and tripod attachment. The dovetail can be attached to a shoulder pad for custom handheld configurations.
