In a simple design with both an Ethernet port and Wi-Fi, the Magewell Ultra Encode SDI features a 3G/HD/SD-SDI input and loop output, 16-channel embedded audio support, and 3.5mm audio input and output. It supports up to DCI 2K60 input and encodes up to 1080p60 in H.264/265 with 2-channel AAC audio. The compact encoder allows dual streaming with a 16 Mb/s main stream and 2 Mb/s sub stream.

Audio can be embedded into the encoding stream or extracted via the 3.5mm line out. You can stream to two destinations at the same time (limited to select protocols), and the encoder provides native support for popular destinations such as Facebook, YouTube, and Twitch. Supported streaming protocols include RTSP, RTMP, RTMPS, SRT Caller, SRT Listener, NDI|HX2, HLS, TS over UDP, and TS over RTP.
