- The NDI protocol is a high-performance standard that enables anyone to use real-time, ultra-low latency video on existing IP video networks. The Kiloview N4 supports bidirectional conversion between 1080p60 HDMI and Full NDI. It can both encode 1080p60 HDMI signals into a Full NDI stream for output and decode Full NDI stream and output 1080p60 HDMI on your screen.
- The flexibility of the N4 allows you to use it on camera, for instant conversion of your camera's HDMI output (up to 1080p60) to NDI, while supporting Tally, for integrating your camera into a multi-camera production. In addition, you can use the same N4 unit in a rackmount situation.
- This tiny device can do both NDI encoding and decoding, so you get two for the price of one. Changing the working mode on the UI to the mode you want via its Web based GUI. Please note that the N4's encoding and decoding functions are mutually exclusive, and cannot be used at the same time.
- In decoder mode, you can preset the NDI sources from number 0-9. When your keypad is ready, you can easily choose the output source with a single press. Additionally, you can even use the USB Keypad to control a PTZ camera for a cost-efficient PTZ Keyboard.
- The Kiloview N4 supports PTZ control through USB to serial RS232/485/422. It also supports PTZ control over IP with no extra cable required. The N4 has a large, bright, and distinct Tally light for PVW/PGM indication.
- With PoE, the N4 can be powered with a single cable connection. With the design of wide DC input range from 5 to 18V, it can also be easily powered by USB power or camera battery.
- Easily designate Kiloview NDI encoders as the video input source in popular desktop video applications like Google Hangouts, GoToMeeting, Skype, Skype for Business, WebEx, Zoom, Teams, and more using the free NDI webcam input tool.
- Kiloview N4 supports 3.5mm analog audio mic in/out or embedded audio. It also supports voice intercom by USB headset between devices directly or with Kiloview Intercom server.
